CNR-DSU Director Salvatore Capasso awarded at the Guido Dorso XLV Edition<\/h2>\r\n

The Department of Human and Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage (DSU) of the National Research Council (CNR) is pleased to announce that DSU Director, Prof. Salvatore Capasso, will receive the \u201cGuido Dorso\u201d International Prize – Mediterranean Section. The Prize, now in its 45th edition, recognizes personalities and institutions that distinguish themselves in the promotion of sustainable social and economic development, with particular attention to the Mediterranean area. <\/p>\r\n

Prof. Capasso is being honored for his many years of significant contributions to Mediterranean studies and for his work with the CNR Institute for Mediterranean Studies.<\/p>\r\n

The judging panel, chaired by Andrea Amatucci, includes the participation of distinguished personalities: Raffaele Fitto, Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion; Orazio Abbamonte, President of the Banco di Napoli Foundation; Maria Chiara Carrozza, President of the National Research Council (CNR); Francesco Saverio Coppola, Secretary General of the \u201cGuido Dorso\u201d Association; Matteo Lorito, Rector of the \u201cFederico II\u201d University; and Nicola Squitieri, President of the \u201cGuido Dorso\u201d Association.<\/p>\r\n
